McAfee acquires mobile security provider tenCube
Leading security firm McAfee has just acquired Singapore-based tenCube, a provider of mobile device security.
McAfee will add TenCube’s to its existing portfolio, allowing McAfee to expand into the mobile market and is expected to support operating systems including Android, Blackberry, iOS and Windows Mobile.
“Mobile devices have become an extension of our lives,” said tenCube CEO Darius Cheung. “Through this acquisition, McAfee can broaden its security capabilities and offer users protection and remote control of the phone whether it is in their possession or not.
